More than 6.6 million euro has been secured for the transformation of Tuam Station House into an enterprise hub.
Galway County Council will now complete a detailed design for the project on Sean Purcell Road, with procurement of a contractor to follow in early summer 2026.
The funding is being allocated from the Northern and Western Regional Assembly through the European Regional Development Fund .
The hub will include individual suites, a podcast studio, a café, and a multi-use space for community events and education.
