The emotional toll of the proposed Galway City Ring Road will be explored as part of a new documentary on Galway Talks tomorrow morning.
Titled ‘RingRoaded’, the documentary explores the lived experiences of some of the 54 families whose homes lie directly along the route.
Four families speak candidly about the anxiety, stress and disruption caused by years of unanswered questions, stalled plans, and the sense of being forgotten through the elongated planning process.
Galway Talks Presenter John Morley went out to the families to hear first-hand about their personal experience of life under Compulsory Purchase Order.
