A file is being prepared for the Director of Public prosecution after a serious road crash in Clonbur.
The collision between two cars happened on the R345 shortly after 8pm last night.
Two women in their 60's were taken to UHG following the incident, and their injuries are described as serious.
The male driver of one of the cars, aged in his 20s, was arrested and it's understood he was not injured.

He's since been released, and a file is now being prepared for the DPP.
The scene remains preserved for technical examination with diversions in place.
Gardaí are now appealing for witnesses, and are asking anyone who was in the area last night and has dash cam footage to make contact.
