Final approval has now been given for a new veterinary programme at the ATU campus in Mountbellew.
Under the programme, 40 places will be offered in Mountbellew, and another 40 at the South East Technological University.
ATU is now in the process of recruiting staff and it's expected the course will be offered from September next year.
