For the first time ever, a masterplan is being developed for Claregalway.
It'll be a blueprint for how the village will grow in a sustainable manner over the coming years.
It's seen as a response to a 33 percent increase in the population of Claregalway since 2016.
An update was presented to local councillors at a meeting at County Hall - and it's expected significant progress will be made this year.
