Four days left to vote for Galway project short-listed for Nation’s Favourite Building

There are four days left to vote for the Galway project shortlisted for the Nation’s Favourite Building in the Royal Institute of Architects Public Choice Awards.

People can choose from a total of 44 projects, including Bóithrín na Saoirse in Galway city, a Traveller Specific Group Housing Scheme on Circular Road

Designed by desuin architects Bóithrín na Saoirse replaced a long-standing 1988 halting site with five permanent, modern, energy-efficient homes designed specifically for Traveller families.

In total, the RIAI received 174 entries across categories such as public use, urban design, conservation, adaptation and re-use, housing and sustainability.
