There are four days left to vote for the Galway project shortlisted for the Nation’s Favourite Building in the Royal Institute of Architects Public Choice Awards.
People can choose from a total of 44 projects, including Bóithrín na Saoirse in Galway city, a Traveller Specific Group Housing Scheme on Circular Road
Designed by desuin architects Bóithrín na Saoirse replaced a long-standing 1988 halting site with five permanent, modern, energy-efficient homes designed specifically for Traveller families.
In total, the RIAI received 174 entries across categories such as public use, urban design, conservation, adaptation and re-use, housing and sustainability.
Voting, which is online, is open until 5 on Monday evening at riai.ie/public-choice-award-poll.
