Over €34,000 in funding has been approved for upgrades to the playground at Belclare.
Upgrades include the replacement of the surface beneath the zip line, equipment replacement and the addtion of new play equipment.
The subsidy was announced as part of the LEADER programme, which focuses on a community-led approach to local development.
Minister for transport, Seán Canney, says that the funding is a great boost to the area.
