Temperatures are expected to plummet over the next 24 hours as the country is hit by an arctic blast.
Met Éireann has issued status yellow Low Temperature and Ice warnings for the entire country from 9 o'clock tonight
It'll expire at 10 tomorrow morning, with temperatures dipping to as low as minus 4 degrees.
There's also a warning for rain in Dublin and Wicklow until midday today.
Alan O Reilly from Carlow Weather says while there will be some sunshine, it will be bitterly cold.
