Galway childcare providers and politicians to attend national pre-budget conference

Galway Bay fm newsroom - Childcare providers and public representatives from across Galway are set to attend a national pre-budget conference on the childcare sector.

The Early Childhood Ireland annual conference will highlight the urgent need for greater investment in the upcoming budget.

The organisation has 200 members in Galway, ranging from small, independently-owned services to multi-site operators.

It says affordability for families - and sustainability for providers - cannot be achieved without significant increases in Government investment.
