Galway Church leader says it's important not to become desensitised to the horrors of global wars

The Church of Ireland leader in Galway says it's very important that we don't become desensitised to the horrors of global wars.

Very Reverend Lynda Peilow from St Nicholas Collegiate Church made her comments on Galway Bay fm's annual Christmas Messages Programme.

Very Reverend Peilow, who's also Provost of Tuam, says what we experienced here during Storm Eowyn at the start of the year is just a snippet of the deprivation being endured in war-torn areas

It will be broadcast on Galway Bay fm just after the 6 o'clock news this evening, and just after the 1 o clock news tomorrow, Christmas Day.
