An artist from Galway city's west end has scooped a top accolade at the RDS Arts Awards.
Lily Mannion is a visual artist working across multiple disciplines, including ceramics, sculpture, and textile-based media.
2025 RDS Visual Art Awards Finalist: Lily Mannion (BA (Hons) Contemporary Art, ATU Galway). Exhibition opens 21 November 2025 at the RHA, with a prize fund of almost €60,000.
Lily will receive the RDS Members’ Art Fund Award of €5,000, from a total funding pot of €140,000, which is shared across visual art, crafts and music.

This year's ceremony in Dublin marked the 165th presentation of the prestigious Taylor Art Trust Award.
