Galway East TD Seán Canney has confirmed his plans to run for re-election in the upcoming General Election.

The Independent TD and former Junior Minister has represented the people of East Galway for the last 9 years.

Deputy Canney says Galway East is a great place to live but he believes there are still many issues that need to be resolved.

He prioritises farming, housing, health care, carers, disability matters, infrastructure and public transport
