Galway Bay fm newsroom - One unit of the Galway fire brigade is attending the scene of a large gorse fire at Tonabrocky this evening.
A large area has been affected by the fire; however the emergency services say the fire is not serious.
Motorists and residents in the area are being warned that the fire is generating a large amount of smoke and to take care if travelling in the area.
