Galway Fire Brigade called to Gorse Fire in the city

Galway Bay FM Newsroom - Units of Galway Fire Brigade were called out to a Gorse fire that took place in the city yesterday evening.

The fire was started on land in the Ballymoneen Road area of the city and was attended to by two units of Galway Fire Brigade.

It is understood that the fire was started on waste ground but was extinguished quickly.

No further information is available.
