Galway Bay fm newsroom - The Garda Siochana Ombudsman Commission has revealed that Gardai in Galway are one of the biggest sources of complaints in the country.
The Galway Garda division has one of the highest rates of allegations against it according to GSOC's 2016 figures.
Outside Dublin, Gardaí in Galway and Cork city were the subject of most complaints last year.
According to the Irish Times, GSOC received over 1,700 complaints last year containing over 3,700 allegations against members of the Gardaí.
