Galway has been labelled a home care blackspot, as 362 people are on a waiting list
That's according to Home & Care Community Care Ireland, which is calling for Budget 2026 to fund one million extra home care hours.
Galway is mentioned by the organisation as one of the problem areas, alongside Cork, Donegal and Limerick.
