Galway Bay fm newsroom - A family owned toy retailer with headquarters in Galway has recorded sales of more than half a billion euro in its UK operations for the first time.
New figures show Smyths Toys has seen sales surge by 11 percent in the UK in 2017 to a record 534 million euro.
According to the Irish Independent, the business which is led by the four Smyth brothers saw pre-tax profits increase by 18 percent to over 13.3 million euro.
