Galway International Arts Festival Chief steps down from Galway 2020 board

Galway Bay fm newsroom - The board of Galway 2020 has lost another prominent member.

Chief Executive of Galway International Arts Festival, John Crumlish has resigned from the group.

According to today's Irish Times, John Crumlish said it was always his intention to step down from the board when negotiations would begin between the arts festival and Galway 2020 about GIAF's project for 2020.

It follows the departure of Galway 2020's former Chief Executive Hannah Kiely last month and its creative director, Chris Baldwin earlier this year.
