Galway has been ranked the tenth-safest county in Ireland.
Roscommon is deemed the safest, according to a study by Galway-based estate agent and auctioneer Long & Co.
Second place went to Leitrim, followed by Mayo, Sligo, and Donegal to round off the top 5.
The safest county criteria included population, the number of people per crime reported and the number of Gardaí available.
