The details of a deal reached to complete an estate in Barna after years of dispute have been revealed.
The long-running saga relates to issues at the An Maolán Estate, and in particular the state of the road serving the development.
In a joint statement, Denalibrook Limited and Galway County Council have confirmed they've reached an agreement.
It provides for the completion of road upgrade works at Cregán Road, and the delivery of 5 homes for social housing.

It also facilitates the purchase of land by Galway County Council to enable the future extension of the Barna Inner Relief Road.
The statement concludes by acknowledging the commitment of both parties to the completion of the works as efficiently as possible.
