Galway public urged to kick habit ahead of National No Smoking Day

Tomorrow is National No Smoking Day - and the HSE West is urging the public to consider kicking the habit for good.

Over 1,200 people in this region quit smoking last year - and the HSE says it's the single most important thing you can do to improve your health and wellbeing.

Stop Smoking Services are available all year round and are free, all you have to do is get in touch.

David Nevin has been speaking to Ann-Marie McGarry, Smoking Cessation Officer at UHG.
