Galway Bay fm newsroom - A Galway TD says the ongoing impasse preventing some bus operators from using Galway Coach Station is completely unacceptable - and urgent resolution is needed.

Deputy Mairead Farrell says the long-running issue of coaches having to use the road outside the station for pick-ups and drop-offs is creating serious disruption.

The National Transport Authority says the basis of the ongoing commercial dispute relates to payment amounts and contractual matters regarding the use of the station.

Sinn Fein Deputy Farrell points out that Galway Coach Station is built on public lands and the public deserve better than the current services being provided.
