Fine Gael TD for Galway East, Pete Roche is to lead this year's St Patrick's Day Parade in Cabo Roy in Alicante in Spain.
The Parade began in 2011 and is recognised as the biggest one on mainland Europe.
Sunday afternoon's event is expected to draw a crowd of 25,000, which will be a mixture of locals and tourists.
