Galway Bay fm newsroom - A Galway East TD is set to bring forward a bill in the Dáil to introduce leave entitlements for parents who have lost a child.
The Parental Bereavement Leave Bill is being brought by Deputy Anne Rabbitte, to provide statutory leave and pay entitlements.
Deputy Rabbitte says at present, parents have to rely on the compassion of their employers - who are not legally obliged to offer paid leave.
