Galway United created one of the shocks of the season
last night claiming victory over Cork City in round two of the FAI Cup at
Eamonn Deacy Park.

Melody was the hero as Alan Murphy’s side took a 1-0 lead at half-time.

The defeat sees Cork City out of the FAI Cup while Galway United claim a place in the last eight of the cup competition.

The FAI Cup Quarter Final draw will take place this Monday morning 26th August at 8.35am.
