Garda report shows drop in domestic incidents in the county

There has been a drop in domestic disputes in the county which have been recorded by gardaí.

According to the latest garda report which was presented at the County Joint Policing Committee, it shows a decrease of 14 per cent in domestic disputes where no offence was disclosed.

There was also a 4 per cent reduction in breaches of barring orders, safety and protection orders.
