Galway Bay fm newsroom - Gardai have appealed for information following a serious assault on a man in Gateway Retail Park in Knocknacarra on Sunday evening (19/8).
A group of youths allegedly attacked a staff member of the park between 8.30pm and 9.15pm on Sunday.
The man was taken to University Hospital Galway but was not seriously injured.
Gardai are examining local CCTV footage and are pursuing a definite line of inquiry.
