Galway has been officially named Ireland’s most generous county for the second year in a row.
That's according to GoFundMe’s 2025 Year in Help Report, which shows Galway has more donations per capita than anywhere else in the country.
It has also revealed that Ireland has retained its title as the most generous country in the world, with more than 50 million euro raised.
Galway topped the national list of Ireland’s most generous cities and counties, followed by Limerick, Cork, Waterford and Dublin.
