Green light for expansion of House Hotel in city

The green light's been given for a considerable expansion of the House Hotel at Spanish Parade in the city.

The Choice Hotel Group plans to refurbish a vacant residential house beside the boutique hotel entrance to provide an extra 20 bedrooms.

This would involve the creation of an external glazed link connecting the two buildings at each floor level.

City planners have approved the plans with 18 conditions attached.
