Plans have been approved for a new sporting complex in Athenry.
The project is led by Carnaun Athenry Community Sports and Recreation Campus CLG on behalf of Athenry Camogie club.
It would be based at a site at Gortnahown, opposite the entrance to Clarin College.
The project includes 3 grass playing pitches and an all-weather synthetic pitch with floodlighting.
County planners have now approved the plan with 19 conditions attached.
