Galway Bay fm newsroom - Two kilos of herbal cannabis, destined for Galway, have been seized by Revenue officers at Shannon Airport.

The drugs, worth approximately 40 thousand euro, were found in four different packages in a freight delivery which came from Milan in Italy.

Officials say the drugs were destined for an address in Galway, and investigations are ongoing.
