High tide warning for Galway city

Galway Bay fm newsroom - Galway City Council says high tides are forecast in the city over the next few days.

Crews were on standby last evening to monitor water levels as a very hide tide had been forecast, but it's understood there was no threat to properties.

The council says the weather conditions in relation to wind, waves and pressure are favourable to minimise the risk of flooding.
