An information board on the history and culture of nomadic Irish Travellers has been unveiled at Terryland Forest Park.

The launch was attended by Galway Traveller Movement, Deputy Mayor of Galway Alan Cheevers, University of Galway staff, park volunteers and pupils from Castlegar National School.

It was part of a variety of events organised by the Access Centre at the University of Galway for Irish Traveller Ethnicity Week.
