Road improvement works to the R332 Kilbannon Road to Ballinrobe are due to begin at the end of the month.

Road works will include the widening of the road through Kilbannon village, installation of a new cycle lane from St. Benin's National School to Kilbannon GAA club, as well as a new pedestrian crossing at Kilbannon settlement.
Contracts with O'Connor Sutton will be signed on Monday week the 19th of January with a completion date of December expected.
