Kylemore Abbey’s Connemara Ponies return to Áras an Uachtaráin

Kylemore Abbey’s Connemara Ponies have returned to Áras an Uachtaráin as part of a summer tradition established during the pandemic.

Ruby and her foal Peaceful Pippa have travelled from Connemara to Dublin to graze the front lawn of President Catherine Connolly’s official residence.

The ponies will spend the summer welcoming visitors and international dignitaries to the Áras.

The Connemara pony is the country's only native pony breed, renowned worldwide for its temperament, intelligence and versatility.
