Local councillors want decisions soon on new south Connemara road

Galway Bay fm newsroom - Connemara Municipal District councillors say that real and workable decisions have to be taken soon in relation to the proposed new south Connemara road.

Councillor Tomás Ó Curraoín told a meeting of the Municipal Districtthat all the routes suggested should be scrapped.

The new District Chairperson, Noel Thomas said the road could be scrapped if there was no real prospect of progress - letting people back to living their lives.
