Schools in Spiddal and Carna have won the Regional Final of the Clár na gComhlachtaí enterprise competition for second-level Gaeltacht schools
It's a year-long programme for Transition Year students and the competition, which was held at Áras na Gaeilge, Ollscoil na Gaillimhe is supported by Údarás na Gaeltachta and Junior Achievement Ireland
The winning teams - Bláthaigh, Coláiste Chroí Mhuire, Spiddal along with Biarís and Eco Spa both from Scoil Pobail Mhic Dara in Carna impressed judges with their innovation, teamwork, and enterprise skills

The teams will now go on to represent the West at the Clár na gComhlachtaí National Finals, taking place in Galway next month
AIP from Coláiste Naomh Feichin, Cornamona won the Innovation Award while the Marketing & Finance Award: Biarís, Scoil Pobail Mhic Dara, Carna.
