The controversial agreement between the European Union and South America was approved by the EU Council last month but Ireland was among a number of countries opposing it.
Yesterday, Argentina and Uruguay became the first countries to ratify the agreement and today EU Commission President Ursula von der Leyen, says Brazil and Paraguay are expected to follow soon:
