The EU-South America Mercosur trade deal is not a "done deal" just yet, despite being approved by EU ambassadors today.
That's according to local MEP Ciaran Mullooly, who says it still has to be approved by the European Parliament.
Ireland, France, Poland, Austria and Hungary opposed the deal, while Belgium abstained.
All other EU member states, including Italy, approved the deal.
Independent Ireland MEP Mullooly told Galway Talks the fight is far from over.
