The Government has been accused of allowing a 'free for all' for the development of wind farms in Ireland.
This is according to Galway East TD Louis O' Hara, who said that there is a 'tsunami' of wind farms being constructed in the North Galway area.
If all projects go ahead, there will be over 150 turbines in the North of the County, in communities such as Killimordaly, Clonbern and Barnaderg.
The Sinn Féin TD says that communities are not properly protected from these developments.
