Long overdue Dunmore town safety works to go to planning

Galway County Council is to proceed to planning for the long overdue safety works in Dunmore village, including Bridge Street, Barrack Street, High Street and Castle Street.

Junior Minister and Galway East TD Seán Canney says while this marks an important milestone he acknowleges the community has experienced setbacks and delays which he hopes will now finally be addressed.

The Part 8 planning process will be advertised from this Friday to September 26th with full details available at the Council's Planning Office, the Tuam Area Office, and online

Speaking to Galway Bay FM News, Minister Canney said that it's high time this project is delivered as soon as possible for the safety of the people of Dunmore
