A man is due before a special sitting of Galway District Court this evening over the seizure of cryptocurrency and cash in Doughiska.
On Monday, a home was searched by the Garda Divisional Drugs Unit, supported by the Regional Armed Support Unit.
As part of the operation targeting organised crime, two cryptocurrency accounts containing $410 thousand were frozen.
A freeze was also put on an account at a local institution that held over €20 thousand.

A man in his 20's was arrested, and he's now due before the courts later this evening.
