A man in his 30s has been arrested in relation to an incident of criminal damage to a boat at Claddagh Quay.
Gardaí responded to the incident that occurred at around 2:15AM on Sunday.
Gardaí say the man who was arrested has since been charged.
He is set to appear before a sitting of Galway District Court at a later date.
