A meeting is taking place in Athenry tomorrow evening to discuss the possibility of establishing a Family Resource Centre in the town.
FRCs are community-based organisations which provide targeted services like family support work, counselling, education and training.
The aim of the meeting is to provide guidance and information to those in the community on what is required to establish and successfully run a centre.
CEO of the Family Resource Centre National Forum, Fergal Landy will be at the meeting, which takes place at the Community Hall at 7 tomorrow evening.
