Galway City's Róisín Dubh hosted today's announcement of a one million euro Night-Time Economy Support Scheme for Grassroots Venues.
The scheme, announced by Minister for Culture Patrick O'Donovan, will operate under two streams with grants available for both established and emerging venues.
The funding announced in this year's round is twice as much as last year, and it helps venues like the Róisín Dubh give spaces to upcoming music arts.
