Minister claims vested interests trying to 'frustrate' delivery of new A and E for Galway

Galway Bay fm newsroom - A Minister of State says he believes there are certain interests blocking the progression of a new Emergency Department at University Hospital Galway.

Officials recently confirmed that the new two-storey emergency department would not be completed until 2023.

At a meeting of the Regional Health Forum, the HSE confirmed that a planning application would be submitted in the next 12 weeks.
