Several Government Ministers will meet with Salthill Knocknacarra GAA this weekend to discuss plans for a major development at Mincloon.
The €10m project would be in addition to the current base in Salthill, and would include three new playing pitches.
This Saturday evening, there'll be a switching on ceremony of the new floodlights at the Prairie at Dr. Mannix Road.
But before that, the club will meet with Ministers Hildegarde Naughton, Dara Calleary and Noel Grealish to discuss the Mincloon project, and the funding needed to make it a reality.

Salthill Knocknacarra GAA says the new floodlights are a wonderful addition to existing facilities - but don't address a chronic shortage of playing space facing many juvenile teams.
