Minor traffic diversions on William Street West as water works begin

Some traffic diversions will be in place for William Street West for the next week as a significant water improvement scheme continues in the city.

The next phase of mains replacement to the west of the city centre will help to provide a more resilient and reliable water supply for those in the area.

While works are underway on William Street West, eastbound traffic will be diverted via the Small Crane, Henry Street, and New Street West.

While westbound traffic will be diverted via St Joseph’s Avenue.
