National disability conference to take place at University of Galway

A conference is taking place at University of Galway tomorrow to mark International Day of Persons with Disabilities.

The findings of a national survey will be presented at the event, which marks the 20th of anniversary of the Disability Act 2005.

The conference will feature two expert panels to examine the Act, along with roundtable discussions.

It takes place tomorrow from 9.30am until 4pm in the Institute for Lifecourse and Society on campus.
