A new health technology strategy worth 34 million euro will be launched at the University of Galway today.

The ARC hub for HealthTech will focus on developing solutions to improve chronic disease management through the likes of smart implants and AI.

The investment from the Government is set to drive regional development in this industry in the West and North West areas.
